Overview

Charity night walks are great fun, challenging and available to all. Join us as we walk 10 to 15 miles along the banks of the River Thames from finishing under the world famous Tower Bridge. Enjoy a memorable evening walking with your friends, taking in some of our capital city’s most famous landmarks and all to raise much needed funds for your favourite charity. Why not try walking in fancy dress and make this an experience you will never forget.

Tower Bridge Walkers Houses of Parliament

Important Information

Age: Open to anyone over 14 years of age.

Venue: Kew Bridge near Kew Gardens to Tower Bridge.

Transport: Pre-event information will be provided.

The route: Approximately 15 miles from start to finish. Detailed route information will be provided before the event.

Timings: Registration from 4pm, group starting together at 5pm. The walk should finish around 11pm allowing time for a celebratory drink at the end.

Registration: All walkers will need to register and receive their walking group number before they start.

What to wear: Comfortable clothes appropriate for the weather on the evening. Fancy dress if you dare.

Toilets: Public toilets are available along the route.

Refreshments: Please bring your own water.

First aid: Our staff will be on hand to provide 1st aid cover.

Sponsorship: Before the event you will be sent a fundraising pack with tips on how to raise money. There is no minimum sponsorship amount.

Marshals/guides: Our staff are experienced walking guides and will accompany you along the route to provide any necessary assistance on the night

What to bring: Comfortable shoes, appropriate clothes for the weather conditions, healthy light snacks, water, a mobile phone, small bag to carry belongings.
