What is Explore Adventure?

Rock UK exists to create life long memories for people who come on our adventures. We love to help people push the boundaries of their comfort zones and give them the confidence to understand more about their own spiritual, mental and physical capabilities.

We’re here to provide them an environment which is secure, safe and re-affirming of people. We encourage and foster a culture of positivity, showing people the power that positive attitudes can have on the individual as well as a wider group.

Ultimately we want this environment and culture to have a lasting effect on those that have come and spent some time with us. A spark was ignited when I stayed at Rock UK. I became more confident, more adventurous, more independent, more secure in who I was.

Explore Adventure is our programme of exciting off-site UK and Worldwide adventures that provides our guests opportunities to discover more. More about the world they live in, more about what they can achieve and more about why they are here.

Using our own Rock UK staff and working in partnership with other Christian organisations, such as Alpha UK and Christian Vision for Men we have created a fantastic way for you to experience the world we live in. For example you could be abseiling in the Peak District, climbing up Snowdon, canoeing in the Scottish Highlands or skiing in the Austrian Tyrol. Alongside your adventure we will provide optional and informal opportunities for you to consider some of life’s bigger questions and discover more about the Christian faith.

Bear Grylls, when asked why he agreed to support Rock UK in agreeing to become our newest Rock Star he said “Rock UK truly rock! I fully support their work and love their ethos of adventure, faith, and friendships. What a winning combination!”
